If you use Prettier to format your Markdown files, Prettier might auto-format your code to invalid admonition syntax. To avoid this problem, add empty lines around the starting and ending directives. This is also why the examples we show here all have empty lines around the content.

You can customize how each individual admonition type is rendered through swizzling. You can often achieve your goal through a simple wrapper. For example, in the follow example, we swap out the icon for info admonitions only.

Admonitions are implemented with a Remark plugin. The plugin is designed to be configurable. To customize the Remark plugin for a specific content plugin (docs, blog, pages), pass the options through the admonitions key.

An admonition is direction, warning or advice from a judge. A judge can admonish anyone in the courtroom, including defendants, prosecutors, witnesses and spectators. For example, in 1999, two female prosecutors were admonished by the judge for wearing pantsuits instead of skirts during trial proceedings. Sometimes the judge will admonish courtroom observers to restrain themselves during the reading of the verdict. Failure to comply with an admonition can have various results, including being found in Contempt of Court or being removed from the courtroom.

You should not embed headings (lines starting with #) inside of admonitions, dropdowns, or other content blocks such as this.Sphinx (and thus Jupyter Book) uses headings to define the major top-level sections of a document.For this reason, nesting a heading within a block will cause unpredictable breakage of the document structure.

Admonitions (\"safety messages\" or \"hazard statements\") can appear anywherean ordinary body element can. They contain arbitrary body elements.Typically, an admonition is rendered as an offset block in a document,sometimes outlined or shaded.

Any text immediately following the directive indicator (on the sameline and/or indented on following lines) is interpreted as a directiveblock and is parsed for normal body elements. If image-based or font-based icons are not available, you can leverage the admonition caption to display an emoji (or any symbol from Unicode) in the place of the admonition label, thus giving you an alternative way to make admonition icons.

Important: admonitions that use the inline modifiers must be declared prior to the content block you want to place them beside. If there's insufficient space to render the admonition next to the block, the admonition will stretch to the full width of the viewport, e.g., on mobile viewports.

A: As you have discovered, the admonition of the OA is not readily available. This is by design, as it is intended to be known only to those who are members. It is not surprising that you may have forgotten the admonition; the Ordeal ceremony is intended to be the climax of an intense experience, and the exact details of it may not be clear until later. Do not be worried.

This is why most lodges have procedures to help Ordeal members like you as they work to better understand the Ordeal they went through, and its meaning. When you arrive at your event, you will probably find that there is a designated way for those members working to seal their membership in Brotherhood to meet and discuss the information they need to know. (Some lodges do this as a group session; others have the people working on Brotherhood meet individually with more experienced members.) You should be able to find out the admonition at that time.

If, for some reason, no such activity is scheduled for those working on Brotherhood, ask the event leaders. If they can not help you, you can ask an experienced OA member what the admonition is. The ceremony chair and adviser should know, as the admonition is written in the Ceremony for the Ordeal book.
