No, Student Edition serial numbers are version specific. Hence, it is not possible to install other versions with the same serial number. You can only install the version entitled by your serial number.
Please contact the online store/reseller from whom you have purchased the Student Edition license. They can provide you with information regarding your serial numbers and/or any questions related to your order process.
Student Edition serial numbers are version-specific. Hence, this warning will be given if the serial number used for installation is not entitled to the version selected during installation (mismatch). From the download drop/down list, make sure to select the entitled version (the version you purchased) and then download and install again.
Starting with SOLIDWORKS 2019-2020, add-on products like CAM, Composer, Electrical, Simulation, Flow Simulation, etc. are included under the CAD serial number itself. You are not required to input serial numbers separately to install these products. Just enter the serial number for CAD; all other fields should be empty and deselected.
Note that SOLIDWORKS PCB, SOLIDWORKS PDM, and other server products are not part of the list of products included with SOLIDWORKS CAD. You will need a separate serial number if installing these products. SDK licenses are entitled to only SOLIDWORKS Standard products. You can find the list of features for SOLIDWORKS Standard through the product matrix at this link - www.solidworks.com/solidworks-3d-cad
Yes. Starting with SOLIDWORKS Student Edition 2020-2021, this serial number will license the previous version of Student Edition 2019-2020. The same will be true for future releases, licensing the previous year's release.
Over time computer hardware gets old, and as a result it needs to be replaced. Although new gear can be exciting, it comes with the hassle of transferring your software. When we change the hardware running SOLIDWORKS, be it a client with a stand-alone license or a server running the SolidNetWork License Manager, it will require us to deactivate the serial number used for the installation.
To change the serial number installed on your system, you will need to use the Administrative Image Option Editor. You will use this editor to input the appropriate serial numbers and then deploy the image to your computer.
Americans are increasingly turning to the Internet as a source of health care information. These online resources should be written at a level readily understood by the average American. This study evaluates the readability of online patient education information available from the American Academy of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF) professional Web site using 7 different assessment tools that analyze the materials for reading ease and grade level of its target audience. Analysis of Internet-based patient education material from the AAO-HNSF Web site. Online patient education material from the AAO-HNSF was downloaded in January 2012 and assessed for level of readability using the Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level, SMOG grading, Coleman-Liau Index, Gunning-Fog Index, Raygor Readability Estimate graph, and Fry Readability graph. The text from each subsection was pasted as plain text into Microsoft Word document, and each subsection was subjected to readability analysis using the software package Readability Studio Professional Edition Version 2012.1. All health care education material assessed is written between an 11th grade and graduate reading level and is considered \"difficult to read\" by the assessment scales. Online patient education materials on the AAO-HNSF Web site are written above the recommended 6th grade level and may need to be revised to make them more easily understood by a broader audience.
The goal of this study is to analyse the stress distribution in the press-fit microimplant-bone interface and its indications for immediate loading of orthodontic microimplant. Three-dimensional finite element models were created of a 20 mm section of posterior mandible simplified in isosceles trapezoid shape, 30 mm in height, 10mm in upper side width, 14 mm in lower side width, with a single microimplant, 1.2 mm in diameter, 6 mm in length embedded in the bone. The cortical bone thickness was assumed as 1.6 mm. Cortical and cancellous bone were modeled as transversely isotropic and linearly elastic materials. Titanium was modeled as isotropic and linearly elastic material. Perfect bonding was assumed at microimplant- bone interfaces. ANSYS 9.0 finite element analysis software was used to generate the simplified finite element models of the local mandible-implant complex. 0 mm, 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm press-fit were arbitrarily set to the implant-bone interface to mimic the situation of immediate placement of microimplant. Stresses in the microimplant-bone interface were calculated under these \"press-fit\". Stresses distributed mainly in the cortical bone interface. At Omm press-fit, the stress was 0 MPa. For 0.05mm press-fit, the stress was 1648 MPa in mesio-distal direction, 1782MPa in occluso-gingival direction;and for 0.1 mm, it reached 2012MPa in mesio-distal direction, 2110MPa in occluso-gingival direction. As the \"press-fit\" increased, the stresses increased accordingly. Values of initial stress in the microimplant-bone interface due to press-fit generated by immediately placed microimplant were very high in these limited and simplified three dimensional finite element models. It reminded us that the initial stress be taken into consideration when immediate loading of the microimplant is planned.
